The best player for the winners was Somalian-American guard Faisal Aden (193-89, college: WSU) who scored 20 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. DR Congolese Michael Kazunguzibwa (-92) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. KPA's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cobra was better in third quarter 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Cobra 52-34 including a 21-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. City Oilers players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Cobra's players. It was an exceptional evening for American-Ugandan Jordin Mayes (190-91, college: Arizona) who led the winners and scored 29 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. American-Mexican guard Tyray Petty (192-88, college: Utah Valley) accounted for 20 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists for the winning side. Ugandan forward Geoffrey Soro (198-92) came up with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and Tony Anthony (-96) added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Cobra in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
